Supertech has tied-up with co-working company Skootr in order to develop a 30,000 sq ft of co-working space in its SuperNova project situated in Sector 94, Noida.
Skootr will be managing the space and leasing it further on per-seat basis.
“We see the co-working market growing leaps and bounds in coming years and are very serious about it. Such tie-ups will help in easy off-take of current inventory as well,” says Mohit Arora, Managing Director, Supertech.
“This tie-up changes the dynamics of co-working spaces completely and will open-up newer venues for us. Such tie-ups benefits three parties: builders, investor who are buying the office and start-ups and other companies who get office spaces at affordable prices,” says Puneet Chandra, Founder, Skootr.
Skootr plans to actively look for more such tie-ups in coming months and plans to add 2-3 million sq ft of such spaces (where builders are suppliers of space) by the end of 2017.
Builders have the biggest supply of commercial spaces which can be developed into co-working space. This will develop the co-working spaces similar to branded hotel industry. “Just like branded hotels we will soon have branded offices,” says Ankit Jain, Chief Acquisition Officer, Skootr.
Demand for co-working spaces is growing a lot in the last few years. IT/ITeS, BFSI, e-commerce and all other established companies are looking to open their representative offices in such spaces in order to cut overall cost while start-ups find them affordable.
In order to capitalise on this growing demand Supertech is also developing a co-working space under its own co-working brand. This is also being developed in Supernova and is spread across 30,000 sq ft.
“We haven’t decided the name of our co-working brand till date but are very seriously entering into the co-working space,” says Arora
The company is also in talks with another co-working company Innov8 to bring more such co-working spaces.
“We would be looking for more such tie-ups along with developing our own brand. Such companies have expertise in managing such project which eventually helps in stable growth in a long term,” adds Arora.
